Many of my blog commentors as looking for a cheap yet realiable Table PC, so I decided to write this review about the latest cheap Tablet PC available here in Philippines: Coby Kyros.
Compare to typical iRobot Android Tablet PC that runs with Rockchip RK2808a Chipset (with CPU Speed of 600 MHz), Coby Kyros is a little bit faster because it runs at Telechips TTC8902 (which has a CPU Speed of 800 MHz).
When it comes to operating system, Coby Kyros runs with Android 2.1 OS; much higher compare to iRobot Android Tablet PC that runs only with Android 1.5 OS.
Besides, Coby Kyros has a larger built in memory (4GB which can be expanded with 16GB microSD); unlike typical iRobot Android Tablet PC that has typical built-in memory of 2GB.
The downside of Coby Kyros Tablet PC is that it has no access to Android Apps Market. But it's just OK; it was already pre-loaded with useful Android apps.
